I first qualified in 1996 as a City & Guilds Beauty Therapist. From an early age I was always conscious about looking after my skin and nails etc. However,  It soon became apparent that I had a great  interest in  the Holistic approach.

 

Years later I experienced a difficult time in my life and I became very interested in Reiki - A natural healing technique from Japan.  After experiencing the benefits of Reiki for myself,  I decided to train as a Reiki Practitioner so I could incorporate Reiki into my treatments to  benefit my clients.

 

As well as Reiki,  I have a passion for Massage Therapy.  I was treating a number of client's who worked in offices or that had young children and were complaining of back problems.  I was already VTCT trained in Level 3 Swedish Massage but to help with these types of complaints I  decided that I wanted to study massage further.   VTCT is a world recognised qualification and following further study, I qualified in Deep Tissue Massage, Massage in Pregnancy and Hot Stones Massage. 

 

Shortly after that, for personal reasons, I began research in to 'Fertility Massage'. I knew straight away that this is what I had to do next. I wanted to help other women in similar situations to myself so I spent weeks and weeks of reading and researching.  As the majority of training & information in this field is based in America it was difficult to find somewhere in the UK where I could train.   Eventually, I found a wonderful lady who runs a fertility retreat in London.  Without absolutely no hesitation that this course would be right for me, off I went with my case packed down to London.  I was taught by a remarkable lady with years of experience, I knew I was in safe hands.  I truly believe that the course has changed my life, both personally and professionally.

 

I am now a fully qualified 'Abdominal -Sacral Massage Practitioner'.  I feel very privileged to be one of only a few in the UK and to date the only practitioner in the North West.  My passion for 'Women's natural health' continues
